The term ARISE ARJUNA is obviously rooted in the Hindu/Vedic Ethos yet it is truly a universal concept. The image of Arjuna, the troubled good hearted warrior arisen and tackling the challenges of life is universally applicable. Lord Krishna as the best friend, guide, teacher and Divinity has inspired and continues to inspire millions of people around the world regardless of ethnicity, religion, language, gender or nationality. Beyond merely being a part of a vast belief system, Arjuna, Krishna and the Bhagavad Gita represent essential core and basic human values that can be accessed, practiced and implemeted by one and all.

Ancient Personalities, be they from history or myth, evoke and inspire to this day. We see examples of this all around us. Thus we see that Modern India has evoked the power of the name 'Arjuna' when it developed 'Arjuna' tanks. India's Nuclear tests were labelled 'Smiling Buddha' and 'Operation Shakti 1 thru 5'. Indian Missiles are named Akash, Astra, Nag, Trishul, Prithvi, Sagarika, Dhanush, Agni and Surya.These terms and names instill a sense of strength, purpose and effectiveness in India's Nation and Military.
